Kyle P. Snyder, an alumnus of Ball State University, holds a Baccalaureate Degree with specific emphasis in both Digital Media and English. These areas of study serve as a compliment to a varied and diverse background as an audio engineer / technologist. Snyder’s education in audio engineering also comes from Ball State University, where throughout his undergraduate career he studied for several years in their department of Music Technology; Snyder attributes his education in audio engineering to his varied experiences within this program.

As an audio engineer / technologist, Snyder is routinely called upon by clients of local, national, and international acclaim. Recent credits include his work as Technical Director for the SEAMUS 2009 National Conference hosted by Sweetwater Sound. Other credits include public and private companies and academic institutions, including Blue Lou Marini of Blues Brothers fame in his featured performance at the internationally acclaimed Long Night of Music, The Terri Dreams, The University of North Texas Recording Services and countless others including national, international, and regional music concerts, conferences and festivals, private companies, and academic institutions.

In addition to his engineering experience, Snyder’s significant musical background includes work with both vocal and instrumental ensembles. Trained classically in vocal music, Snyder has performed throughout his career vocally, initially with the award winning Delphian Chorale and later with the BSU Concert Choir & Statesmen. Additionally, he worked for several years with various secondary school music ensembles. Snyder’s diverse background with both instrumental and choral ensembles serves as an ideal background to his day to day work as an audio engineer / technologist.

Professionally, Snyder strives to remain current in the latest techniques and technologies through active membership in professional organizations, including the Audio Engineering Society as well as The National Academy of Recording Arts & Sciences.

Snyder’s current work as a freelance audio engineer / technologist builds upon his prior credits with clients of local, national, and international acclaim within both the public and private sector, as well as his musical experience and professional in an effort to provide quality service in all areas of audio engineering and audio technology.
